· More than 60% of adults know someone who came to work under the influence of alcohol or other drugs.

 

· Approximately 70% of all drug users work.

 

· Alcoholism is estimated to cause 500 million lost workdays annually.

 

· Alcohol is the most widely abused drug among working adults.

 

· Tobacco causes more absenteeism than alcohol and drugs put together.
